Job summary

Lowe’s in Homewood, IL is seeking a cashier to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value for their money. You’ll answer questions, process payments, and assist with exchanges while maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Most time is at the register, but you may help in other departments, stock shelves, and engage with customers in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and prior retail or customer service experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
