Job summary

Best Buy is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to be the face of the company in our Lafayette, IN store. You’ll learn to confidently recommend the right tech products and services while helping customers find solutions tailored to their needs.

The role includes product demos, answering questions, and performing cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges. We value a customer-focused mindset and offer ongoing learning, a well-stocked sales floor, and support for in-store and curbside pickup

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations that meet customers’ needs across all departments.
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development.
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
