Reflection AI in New York is seeking a ML Engineer to fine-tune open-weight models for enterprise customers. You will work hands-on with client data, run SFT, DPO, RLHF workflows, and deploy adapted models to production across hybrid environments.

You will design evaluation benchmarks, collaborate with research teams, and translate customer requirements into training strategies while shipping reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience fine-tuning language models for production use.
• Experience with SFT, DPO, RLHF or similar techniques.
• Ability to design evals and interpret training graphs.
• Strong software engineering practices and reproducible code.

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune open-weight models for customer domains and tasks.
• Build and maintain evaluation suites and baselines.
• Prepare training data from raw customer inputs and pipelines.
• Debug training and inference issues and monitor loss curves.
• Support deployments across hybrid cloud environments (public, VPC, on-prem).
• Contribute to playbooks, benchmarks, and best practices.
