Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate in Georgia to act as the point of contact for customers, assist with plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and ensure the store runs smoothly. You will greet customers, manage checkout with a handheld scanner, and help maintain store cleanliness and displays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; store or stock on sales floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate and face items.
• Restock recovered merchandise; assist customers in locating products.
• Greet customers and handle transactions at the cash register.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and bag items; collect payment.
• Assist with merchandise ordering using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep store front clean; set up sidewalks displays when required.
