Job summary

G&M Oil Company, Inc. seeks a customer-focused team member for our Southern California fueling stations and convenience stores.

You will provide friendly service, handle sales at the register and fuel console, and keep the store clean and safe for customers and staff alike. Responsibilities include processing transactions, verifying age for restricted products, assisting promotions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a neat appearance while adhering to company policies and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with PDI Enterprise POS or similar system.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to learn simple tasks quickly with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and cash handling skills required.
• Food handlers permit if required by store/county.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Open availability to work all shifts within the district.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS and fuel console; handle cash and other payments accurately.
• Process sales transactions quickly; enter transactions into the register.
• Check identifications for age-restricted items.
• Assist promotions and suggestive selling to meet sales goals.
• Stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and store policies consistently.
• Perform daily store tasks including trash removal, cleaning, and backroom organization.
