Job summary

The Children's Place in Lehi, Utah is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and use effective selling techniques to drive sales while maintaining merchandise presentation and a clean store and backroom.

You will greet customers, respond with urgency, maintain stock levels, assist with sizing, operate at the cashwrap, and follow loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Explain value and promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Utilize selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly cashwrap service and explain PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow display and signage standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and safe; support a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping per policy.
• Assist with loss prevention procedures.
• Notify leadership of maintenance needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals through focused efforts.
• Process stock flexibly as needed.
