Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking friendly, service-focused associates to greet customers and prepare food items across our breakfast and built-to-order offerings. You will operate the register, manage payments and age-restricted verifications, and ensure the store is stocked, clean, and welcoming.

In a fast-paced store environment, you will work as part of a team, multitasking between food prep, checkout duties, and customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service.

• Must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation.
• Enjoys working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas; keep coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure stores are well-stocked with fresh, inviting shelves.
• Help keep stores clean and safe by following policies and guidelines.
• Complete housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
