Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Customer-Facing Team Member in Clearwater, FL. You will be the primary contact for customers, stock and merchandise displays, operate cash registers, and help maintain a clean store environment to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

You will use product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience, follow SOPs, assist with self-checkout, and support merchandising guidelines across the store.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to operate cash registers.
• Ability to stock and display merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Assist in stocking, merchandising, and creating eye-catching displays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Operate cash registers and assist customers with checkout.
• Support self-checkout at multiple terminals.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in SOPs and employee handbook.
