Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to support daily operations at our Michigan location. You will assist customers, stock shelves, build displays, and help maintain plan-o-grams to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will also operate the cash register, handle transactions, and assist with receiving and stocking duties. The role requires physical activity and punctuality in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and handle stock; receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate/facilitate shelf presentation; build displays.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
