Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate for our Texas location. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, building displays, and assisting customers on the sales floor. You will operate the cash register, handle transactions, and maintain a clean store environment.

Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, basic math and cash handling abilities, and the ability to read plan‑o‑gram guidelines. Prior POS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan‑o‑gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Basic cash handling procedures and math skills.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store or move to sales floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays and restock shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag items.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Greet customers and comply with company policies.
