Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a front-end leader to deliver an outstanding customer experience and mentor Associates. You’ll oversee front-of-store operations, promote loyalty programs, and ensure store priorities are met with integrity and teamwork.

Addressing customer needs, training Associates, assigning registers, and coordinating breaks, you’ll model exceptional service while upholding store standards and labor policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changing priorities.
• Able to train and mentor Associates on front-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
• Assigns registers, supports POS coverage, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and maintains a positive experience.
• Ensures adherence to labor laws and store policies; promotes safety and loyalty programs.

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
