Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced front-end supervisor for our Lake Stevens, WA store. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, promote loyalty programs, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive customer experience at front of store and promotes loyalty programs

• Assigns registers, coordinates breaks and supports POS coverage as needed
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and escalates issues while maintaining service standards
• Promotes safety, adherence to policies, and labor-law compliance
• Partners with management on training needs to increase effectiveness

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of $18.13 to $18.63 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The Full Range of the position is $18.13 to $28.80 per hour.
