Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Front End Leader for HomeGoods in Elizabethtown, KY to promote an excellent customer experience and lead a team of front-store Associates. You will model outstanding service, maintain a clean, organized store, and promote loyalty programs.

You will train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, coordinate POS coverage, and ensure adherence to labor laws and store policies, while supporting a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong merchandising knowledge and ability to promote customer experience.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with peers and supervisors.
• Team player who can train and mentor others.
• 1 year of retail experience with at least 6 months in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed

• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
