Job summary

Marshalls is seeking a frontline supervisory role to promote an excellent customer experience and lead a team of Associates at the front of the store. You will ensure courteous service, staff coverage, and adherence to store protocols while promoting loyalty programs and a positive work environment.

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience

• Takes active role in mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks according to store plan and priorities
• Communicates with management and Associates on priorities and progress updates
• Provides recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to labor laws and company policies
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety and maintains a safe environment

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
