Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a store leadership associate to promote an excellent customer experience and lead front-of-store teams. You will supervise Associates, train others, and ensure loyalty programs are promoted while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Available to work nights and weekends; strong merchandising, multitasking, and communication skills are essential. Starting pay range is USD 13.75 to 14.25 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Strong merchandising knowledge and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Team player with the ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience at all times.
• Oversee front-of-store Associates and ensure loyalty programs are promoted.

Job Description

• Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience.
• Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs.
• Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
• Role models outstanding customer service.
• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles.
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
