Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a front-end leader to promote an outstanding customer experience. You will lead a team, train associates, coordinate POS coverage, and drive loyalty programs while ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires strong merchandising knowledge, multitasking ability, and excellent communication. Flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, is expected, with starting pay in the $16.25–$16.75 per hour

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience and lead a team of front-of-store associates.
• Oversee POS coverage and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
• Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles; promote loyalty programs.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and promote safety.
• Address customer concerns promptly and provide progress updates.

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
