Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Ashland, KY is seeking a Front End Supervisor at TJ Maxx to promote an excellent customer experience and lead a team of Associates.

You will supervise front-end operations and ensure loyalty programs are promoted and implemented, while maintaining a clean, engaging store environment. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, coaching, resolving customer concerns, and coordinating breaks for all Associates.

• Strong merchandising knowledge and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to train and mentor Associates on front-end principles.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of $13.75 to $14.25 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
