Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience using the cash register and scanner.
• Handle customer exchanges, returns, and complaints effectively.
• Serve as a cashier resource by assisting with transactions, resolving discrepancies, and troubleshooting cash register issues.
• Engage customers in a friendly manner and create pleasant interactions throughout the transaction.
• Cashiers are outgoing and enjoy working with people.
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, checks, gift cards, and credit/debit cards.
• Promote Extended Protection Policy to qualifying items.
• Communicate with Manager on Duty and merchandisers about out-of-stock products at checkout lanes and entrances.
• Remain knowledgeable about the store to answer customer questions.
• Restock items efficiently and keep assigned areas presentable.
• Deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and other company initiatives.
