Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately at the check lane.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and prevent loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow established policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and store procedures.
• Provide friendly service to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
