Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help stock and merchandise during shifts.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, cash handling, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness. Part-time hours are available at our Sewell location, with overall opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail/hospitality or grocery environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing and stooping.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
