Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and provide a great shopping experience for every customer in Pell City, Alabama. The role includes assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking, unloading trucks, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or hospitality experience. This part-time position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive lifting and standing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors, and keep areas neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
