Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a frontline team member in New York to deliver a distinctive customer experience at checkout and in-store interactions.

Responsibilities include cash handling, upselling, maintaining clean shelves, helping customers, and supporting photo services and web order pickups. Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is required. Prior retail experience preferred; Walgreens experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and gives change; processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and upsells/cross-sells.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise as directed.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance to maintain store appearance.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up orders.
