Job summary

Walgreens in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to provide courteous, efficient checkout service and help customers find products.

You will engage with shoppers, handle cash, accept returns, and support store operations while maintaining clean, well-merchandised shelves. Fluency in English and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends are required. Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and delivers customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested; processes refunds and exchanges as needed.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, checks in and prices merchandise as required.
• Implements asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
