Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated Store Clerk to join our team in Montana. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, handling cash, stocking and displaying merchandise, and helping maintain store safety and cleanliness.

You will operate the cash register, greet regular customers, assist with deli duties, and support store management in daily operations. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and education reimbursement.

• Ability to stock, price, rotate and display merchandise.
• Maintain housekeeping and store safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating and displaying merchandise, housekeeping inside and outside the store, store safety and store security, and deli sales and cooking.
• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, scan cards, accept checks, bag merchandise.
• Remember regular customers’ names and faces, answer calls, police the store, detect shoplifters, handle complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, complete shift tasks, clean all areas, handle vendor check-ins and protocol systems.
• Sweep lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps, fill water/cleaning buckets, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Keep hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment center, coffee and fountain areas clean and stocked.
• Perform deli duties in smaller locations as described in the deli job description.
