Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be a point of contact for customers at our store locations. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean.

You’ll work to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling cash, stocking and rotating merchandise, and maintaining displays in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer’s purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, and help set up sidewalk displays.
