Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a team member to serve customers, stock merchandise, and operate the sales floor efficiently. You will follow plan-o-grams, build displays, and assist shoppers in finding products while maintaining store cleanliness.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and handling cash register transactions with basic math skills. Prior cash-handling experience is helpful; high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons; move stock to floor or stock room.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; restock as needed.
• Assist customers by locating items and answering questions.
• Operate cash register; itemize, total, bag purchases; handle payments.
• Keep store clean: dust, mop floors, clean restrooms and stockrooms.
• Greet customers and follow company policies and procedures.
