Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and maintain a clean, well-presented store environment while following safety and loss prevention guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at the register, answering questions, and supporting overall store operations to meet daily goals and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greets Customers and provides friendly, professional service on the sales floor.
• Assists Customers with product questions and questions at the register.
• Maintains clean, organized store areas and ensures proper merchandise presentation.
• Follows company safety, loss prevention and MOS policies.
• Responds promptly to Customer service needs and directs issues to Store Leadership when needed.
