Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized store. You will assist customers with locating merchandise, process transactions, and help create appealing displays under the direction of the Store Manager.

Typical duties include greeting customers, handling cash, stocking products, and ensuring safety and merchandising standards are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and math skills are expected.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and register usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment and bag merchandise.
• Follow merchandising processes, stock, rotate, and display merchandise.
• Clean the store and maintain curbside/display areas as needed.
