Job summary

Food City in Elizabethton, TN seeks a friendly cashier to engage customers, manage shelves, stock, and operate the cash register, delivering fast and courteous service.

You will unload trucks, maintain department appearance, support promotions, and cooperate with store team; flexibility to work nights, days, weekends and holidays. Bilingual Spanish helpful; prior cashier experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on helping customers.
• Ability to operate a cash register and related equipment.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and assist teammates.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and inquiries at the register.
• Unload incoming trucks and stock merchandise in assigned departments.
• Keep shelves clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Assist in promoting Ace Rewards program and store events.
• Participate in daily huddles and team initiatives.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance and wear company uniform.
