Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to greet customers, offer assistance, and recommend products based on customer needs. You may work in Apparel, Entertainment, Toys, Sporting Goods, and other departments, helping customers locate items and ensuring displays are neat and stocked throughout the day.

You will also help with paint mixing, fabric cutting, and supporting checkout processes as needed.

Qualifications

• General merchandise associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs.
• They also ensure Hobbies & Home Improvement displays are maintained and in proper order throughout day.
• Paint mixing and fabric cutting may be required.

Responsibilities

• You'll help customers find what they need across Apparel, Entertainment, Toys, Sporting Goods, and other departments.
• Keep aisles neat and clean, stock shelves, and assist multiple supervisors and fellow associates.
• Provide quick and accurate checkout assistance when needed.
