Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience at our Perrysburg store. You will help customers with purchases, answer questions, and assist with payments and exchanges in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities include scanning and bagging items, guiding customers in self-checkout, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation while supporting other departments as needed. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
• Experience using a computer and inputting information.
• Minimally lift 10 lbs unassisted and up to 15 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions and provide help as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
