Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be a friendly point of contact for customers in our store. You will assist shoppers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

In this role you will follow company merchandising standards, handle basic cash transactions, and help set up displays while maintaining a safe work environment. High school diploma preferred; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience operating a cash register.
• Stock merchandise effectively.
