Job summary

Hibbett is seeking a Sales Associate in San Antonio, TX to deliver quality customer service and drive product sales. You will know the store’s products and promotions, and act as an ambassador of the Hibbett brand to create a welcoming shopping experience.

The role reports to the Store Manager in the Operations department, is non-exempt hourly, and requires the ability to work a fast-paced schedule including peak periods.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Is a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Produce and give extraordinary customer service highlighted in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by the organization.
• Consistently set goals to grow and improve selling skills and track overall sales.
• Assist in the daily operations of the store, including completing work lists and store maintenance.
• Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operations problems to store management staff.
• Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures.
