Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to serve as the main customer contact, set and maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations. You will greet customers, operate the POS system, and assist with merchandise ordering and displays.

Position requires active engagement in stocking, cleaning, and teamwork to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. This role offers full-time hours and on-site work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Clean store areas and tidy front end; operate cash register and bag purchases.
• Collect payment and make change; assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Help set up sidewalk displays and maintain store cleanliness.
