Job summary

Parkland Corporation's West Fargo location is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, process fuel and merchandise sales, and maintain a clean, organized store. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced retail environment.

Shifts are afternoons (1:00 pm–9:00 pm or 2:00 pm–10:00 pm) with flexibility required. Previous retail/food service experience, strong customer focus, and reliability are important for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences on every interaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment
• Prepare food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
• Handle cash, funds, and merchandise responsibly
• Complete shift reports, including closing and balancing the cash register
• Verify customer identification for restricted purchases and follow all regulations
• Support store operations and assist with tasks as needed
• Adapt to customer needs and apply sales techniques to support store profitability
