Job summary

Rebel Convenience Stores in Michigan is seeking a friendly Cashier/Customer Service Associate to greet customers, provide fast, accurate checkout, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

As the face of the store, you will operate the POS system, handle cash and cards, assist with fuel, lottery, and food/bev machines, restock, follow safety procedures, and deliver great service while working flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Comfort with using a POS system and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Ring up sales using the POS system, including Lottery, fuel, and prepaid cards.
• Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
• Keep store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Operate and maintain food/beverage machines (coffee, fountain drinks, hot food).
• Restock and rotate merchandise using FIFO.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
