PharMerica is hiring a full-time Customer Service Pharmacy Technician in Vancouver, WA. You will enter and process medication orders, work with pharmacists and operations teams, and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and efficient handling of high-volume workflows, with remote work possible after the initial 180-day training period if performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Washington State Pharmacy Assistant registration is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of direct client communication experience is preferred.
• Healthcare/pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills are required.
• Good oral communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer and submit inquiries regarding patient information and medications.
• Take requests for refills, passes, discharge orders, and special deliveries.
• Assist the pharmacist with facility and physician office communications.
• Obtain patient information for our database by calling patient care representatives and physician offices.
• Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
• Utilize Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word in daily tasks.
• Complete assigned projects promptly and accurately.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Answer and submit inquiries regarding patient information and medication therapies
• Take requests for refill orders, out on pass, patient discharge orders, and special delivery requests
• Assist the pharmacist with facility and physician office communications
• Obtain patient information for our database by calling patient care representatives and physician offices
• Utilize judgement in knowing when to escape issues to the management level
• Utilize various programs such as Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word
• Complete assigned projects upon request in a timely manner
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Washington State Pharmacy Assistant registration required
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• One year of previous experience with direct client communication - customer service
• Prior healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Must have good oral communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
