Job summary

WinCo Foods is hiring for a Self-Checkout Attendant at our Meridian, Idaho locations. You will provide friendly service, process transactions at multi‑station SCOs or service desks, and help maintain accurate pricing. Shifts run 5:00 am to 1:00 am, 6–8 hours, in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling cash and payments, and keeping areas safe and stocked. Prioritize customer satisfaction while following all policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation including nights and holidays.
• Friendly, courteous interaction with customers and co-workers.
• Communicate clearly to perform customer relation tasks and handle forms.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand or walk for long periods.
• Follow safety rules and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, provide friendly, cooperative service.
• Operate check stands, cash registers, scanners and scales.
• Engage in suggestive selling and accurate transaction processing.
• Maintain knowledge of product locations, prices and UPC codes.
• Keep checkout areas clean, stocked and safe; assist at SCO or service desk as needed.
