The Opportunity: As Customer Area Compliance Lead, you will oversee the comprehensive compliance program for the Molecular Lab Customer Area and the Portfolio & Project Management Global Function (together, the “designated business units”) within Roche Diagnostics Solutions ("RDS"). Operating at a Senior Director level, you will serve as the primary compliance authority and strategic partner to executive business leaders, shaping cross-functional governance and mitigating complex global risks. This role will also support the compliance management program for key US Diagnostics sites. In this Senior Director-level capacity, you will architect and manage the governance and strategic framework for compliance and business sustainability, foster a culture of integrity, drive global compliance risk management, and deliver state-of-the-art compliance programs with a proactive, business-oriented approach. You will collaborate closely with the RDS Compliance leadership team and the broader global Diagnostics compliance network. You will report directly to the DIA RDS Compliance Lead and drive continuous, strategic improvement of the overall Compliance Management Program.
Bachelor's Degree is required. 10+ years relevant work experience (or 7+ years with JD) with demonstrated knowledge of the life sciences industry and legal and regulatory environment (e.g., compliance, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, marketing, audit, risk, assurance or governance), ideally with international and people management experience..
Location: Primary preference for Pleasanton, CA. Other U.S. Roche hub locations (Tucson, AZ; Indianapolis, IN) will be considered. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $153,600.00 - $339,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
