Job summary

Cambia Health is hiring a Software Development Engineer I or II for a hybrid role with three days in the office. The position supports cross-team development, debugging, testing, and deployment of applications, with opportunities across Salt Lake City, Boise and other listed offices.

Ideal candidates have a CS/Math/Engineering background, strong cloud and container skills (AWS, Docker) and experience with GraphQL, NextJS, and CI/CD practices. Relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field with multi-platform development experience.
• Experience in application or database development in a multi-platform environment.
• Engineer II: at least 3 years of relevant experience in a multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains efficient, maintainable program code.
• Contributes to Communities of Practice and may hold Team Champion roles.
• Delivers software solutions for complex business problems across lifecycle.
• Participates in software design, estimation, and technical documentation.
• Supports CI/CD, containerization, and API design best practices.
• Ensures security, data integrity, and collaboration with stakeholders.
