Job summary

Aaron's is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in Douglas, GA. This role focuses on coaching customers, driving payments and renewals, and building relationships to move customers toward ownership of merchandise.

The position offers an hourly wage of $12.25–$13.00 with potential incentive pay based on performance and a total compensation package including benefits. The work schedule supports 8:00 am–9:00 pm shifts with some weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the United States and at least 18 years old in Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory MVR.
• Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
