Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Customer Service Accounts Rep for a hybrid role at our Whitehouse, TN or Granite City, IL manufacturing site. You will own customer orders from entry to delivery, coordinating with production and logistics to ensure on-time fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, proficient with MS Office, and able to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers. Training is on-site with some remote work after ramp-up.

Qualifications

  • HS/GED required; Associates degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years' experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial setting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Engage professionally with customers to understand and meet needs.
  • Receive and manage inquiries via phone and email, addressing concerns.
  • Document and close customer complaints using CCFs for proper resolution.
  • Oversee order fulfillment from entry to delivery, monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, logistics to ensure seamless service.

You’ll collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the production site to gather information, solve problems, and ensure customer needs and orders are successfully carried through to completion

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday | Approximately: 8am – 4pm
Location

Hybrid Position in Granite City, IL or White House, TN Facility

  • Training will be on-site for the first 90-days
  • After 90-days, 3 days in office and 2 days remote work permitted
  • Up to 10% travel required
Salary
  • $25.00/hr - $28.00/hr (based on experience and education)

Additional Position Details
  • Professionally engage with customers to understand and meet customer needs, offering advice and guidance on products and services, assisting customers in making informed decisions.
  • Receives and manages customer inquiries, delivering responses via phone calls and emails, efficiently addressing their concerns and resolving issues encountered.
  • Completion of Customer Complaint Forms (CCFs) for thorough issue documentation and follow-up, ensuring all complaints are properly addressed and resolved.
  • Oversee order fulfillment processes from entry to delivery, monitoring progress and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Manage various sales-related administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation, and reporting to support efficient operations.
  • Accurate entry of purchase order details into applicable systems, ensuring all information is correctly recorded for fulfillment and billing purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including but not limited to sales services teams, production, logistics and sales to ensure seamless service delivery for assigned accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • HS/GED required; Associates degree preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial setting
  • This position has no leadership duties.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook Email, and calendar.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential info
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
