Allied Universal is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer to conduct armed and/or unarmed patrols at various assignments. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling access, and preparing reports while engaging with clients, visitors, and executives in a professional manner.

You will protect company property, deter misconduct, and respond to emergencies. The role requires strong communication, a professional demeanor, and readiness for irregular shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more of the following: Military/Law Enforcement experience, CPSA graduate, or related degree.
• Bachelor’s or higher in law enforcement/criminal justice (or 60 credits with military service).
• 18+ (or 21+ for armed roles); valid driver’s license where required.
• Strong communication, presentation, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; deter misconduct.
• Prepare reports on incidents; maintain logs.

• Must have 4 + years security experience with Military or Law Enforcement experience or Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training or the Equivalent.
• Must be technology savvy and comfortable utilizing various security and workplace systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must demonstrate a professional, polished demeanor and be comfortable interacting with clients, visitors, and executives in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent both the client and organization professionally are essential.

Pay: $28.00 / hour

Allied Universal® is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer. The Custom Protection Officer Flex Officer will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. The Custom Protection Flex Officer will work at various assignments and may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess one or more of the following

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
• A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
• Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
