The ideal candidate loves details, has sewing machine experience, and can work with Excel/Docs for design tracking. This is a hands-on role with daily targets and opportunities to travel for guest events.

Qualifications

• Experience with a sewing machine is a MUST.
• Experience operating a manual chain stitch embroidery machine is a PLUS.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Office and Google Docs / Sheets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill custom orders from store team and brand projects by sewing digitally embroidered patches onto luggage accessories.
• Sew custom patches onto luggage accessories with speed and accuracy.
• Meet sewing targets daily and communicate if goals cannot be met.
• Adjust layout and align patches based on invoices or instructions.
• Assist in customization by laying out designs before sewing when needed.
• Check inventory for design accuracy pre- and post-sewing.
• Clean up after projects and sewing, and communicate improvement ideas.
• Travel to events or stores for on-the-spot sewing for guests shopping.
• Handle other office and retail duties as assigned.
