Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Store Associate in the framing department to assist customers with custom framing, maintain a clean, well-merchandised store, and process framing orders on time.

You will follow SOPs, support Omni-channel processes, handle cash, stock shelves, and help customers find products. Basic computer and measuring skills, plus retail experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required to operate framing equipment.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred, experience selling products/services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Provide custom framing solutions and build relationships with customers.
• Deliver sales and production results and complete framing orders on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find products.
• Support Omni channel processes and assist with stock replenishment.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Follow safety programs and contribute to a positive store environment.
