Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Builder/Palletizer in Minnesota to build custom pallets, crates, and shipping materials. This hands-on role involves using power tools, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will measure, cut, assemble lumber, operate pneumatic nail guns and saws, and help load crates. Shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday; temp-to-hire with potential full-time with the company.

Qualifications

• Background using hand and power tools in construction, woodworking, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency reading a tape measure quickly and accurately.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber/plywood to build custom crates and pallets using blueprints and work orders.
• Safely operate pneumatic nail guns, power saws, and measuring tools.
• Move, load, and stage lumber and finished crates (forklift experience a plus; training provided).
• Inspect materials for defects, follow dimensions strictly, and wear required PPE at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and assist team members to hit daily production goals.
