Job summary

Pall Corporation is seeking a Crate Builder for on-site work in Deland, FL. You will construct custom wooden crates and shipping containers according to blueprints and customer specifications to protect products during domestic and international transport.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of carpentry or crate-building experience, blueprints reading, and adherence to safety standards. Shift is Monday–Friday, 3:10pm–11:10pm, with benefits and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry, crate building, woodworking, packaging, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, measurements, and packaging specifications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Construct custom wooden crates, skids, and shipping containers using blueprints, dimensions, and packaging specifications to ensure product protection during transit.
• Operate woodworking tools and equipment, including saws, nail guns, drills, and measuring devices, while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve packaging methods, material utilization, workflow efficiency, and overall shipping quality. Assist in other areas of manufacturing.
