Job summary

Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD) is seeking an assembly associate to assemble customized cabinets and related products per customer specifications. The role involves reading drawings or orders, selecting materials, and setting up equipment for production.

Candidates should have woodworking or assembly experience, be able to lift heavy objects, and work in a loud, temperature-variable environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Apopka, FL.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly shop equipment and woodworking preferred.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs solo and 160 lbs with a team.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly.
• Comfortable in a loud environment with temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets and supporting products per customer specifications.
• Read drawings, work orders or blueprints to determine materials and setup.
• Verify dimensions using tape, rules or gauges to ensure quality.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
