Midland Marketing in Kansas is seeking a Custom Applicator to safely apply fertilizers and agricultural products. You will operate spray rigs, ensure accurate application, maintain records, and support customers with agronomy solutions.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and readiness to learn new technologies. A Class A CDL and 1A Pesticide License are required or obtainable; training is available for the right candidate.

Formación

• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Class A CDL and 1A Pesticide License.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light equipment maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and wear PPE.
• Background in agriculture or agronomy is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Summary:

As a Custom Applicator, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve optimal crop yields. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient application of fertilizers and other agricultural products. This position requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain spray rigs and other application equipment.
• Accurately apply liquid and dry fertilizers according to prescribed rates and procedures.
• Collaborate with our agronomy sales team to ensure customers receive the best possible solutions and support.
• Maintain detailed application records and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service and addressing their concerns.
• Stay up to date on the latest agricultural technologies and application techniques.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to attract and retain the best talent.

• Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (includes hourly wage, overtime, and a per-acre bonus).
