Tulsa County's Juvenile Bureau is hiring for two youth-escort positions. You will transport youth to court and medical appointments, using county vehicles and applying safety procedures as needed, including mechanical restraints when required.
These roles require adherence to drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive functions and a valid OK driver’s license. The schedule includes a 12 PM-9 PM shift and opportunities for both full-time and part-time work.
Organization Pay $18.97 Pay Frequency Hourly Full Time / Part Time Full time Job Summary 12 PM-9 PM SHIFT. TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE! Under direction and within the scope of policies and guidelines of the Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau (Tulsa County Family Center for Juvenile Justice), provides transportation and escorts of mechanically restrained and unrestrained youth from Detention to court and other locations outside of the Detention Home by performing the following duties.
All candidates conditionally offered transfer, promotion or initial hiring into a DOT/safety-sensitive position shall submit to testing for drugs and alcohol and test negative before performing any job functions that are safety-sensitive or require a CDL. External job applicants with a confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result shall be denied employment and shall be required to wait one year before applying for another position within Tulsa County.

Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a degree in sociology or a closely related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of full-time paid employment in juvenile work or a closely related position for one year of the required education for a maximum substitution of four years.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
